THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Drive the implementation of new processes in production:
Proof of Concept through Production Pilot.
Work with R&D, QA, and Production to meet internal qualification protocol.
Gather pilot yield and scrap reports with QC and production to improve/hand off paint processes.
Write easy to follow, step-by-step work instructions on equipment operation and process procedures.
Conduct one-on-one and/or group training sessions for these work instructions.
Understanding of Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, and Quality Systems.
THE QUALIFIERS BS degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Plastics, Chemistry or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years experience in Paint/Paint or Plastics Manufacturing environment.
Must possess the ability to perform basic paint or plastic defect analysis, offer technical solutions.
Demonstrate basic chemical, electrical, and mechanical skills.
Machine and/or robotic programming knowledge is a plus.
Positive attitude, ability to interact with all manufacturing groups, lead by example.
Working knowledge of paint or molding processes, equipment, and related quality control techniques.
Proven record of developing solutions to new problems, or continuously improving systems and processes.
