In this position, you will:
Reconcile and maintain accounting records for clients in multiple industries on a regular basis i.
e.
:
Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, post journals - cash receipts, cash disbursed, general journal entries, reconcile bank statements Complete sales tax returns and payments (monthly, quarterly, annual) online Complete annual Business Property Statements for clients Review client's accounting records and be able to quickly identify and correct any adjustments needed Analyze and adjust client's trial balance at year-end as needed for income tax preparation Complete Informational forms 1099-Misc and 1099-NEC for clients.
Prepare payroll and quarterly/annual payroll tax forms Minimum
Qualifications:
Proficiency in QuickBooks and knowledge of payroll functions, and ability to analyze a client's general ledger for accuracy and adjust as necessary Previous experience at a CPA firm or as external accountant for many different types of entities a plus Excellent organizational skills Payroll Service knowledge Benefits of working at AGT:
