Supervisor, Clinical - FT, Days, Ortho & Onc - Mercy Medical Center (Redding, CA)
TheSupervisor is accountable for supervising the operations of the Surgical/Orthopedics and Hip and Knee Joint Center to ensure that the optimal schedules, staffing levels and payroll outcomes are in effect and are based upon census, acuity and budget.
The Supervisoris also responsible for ensuring sound financial oversight of operations.
TheSupervisor incorporates differences into the provision of care and integrates knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families with an awareness of cost containment and time management.
In addition theSupervisor trains, evaluates and supervises staff in carrying out departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
The Supervisoris also responsible for other management related functions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Current CA RN licensure 5years recent hospital nursing practice experience in an orthopedic unit Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & strong written/verbal communication skills Certification in the area of nursing recognized by facility BLS PREFERENCES:
Recent (within the last 3 years) management experience Bachelor's degree in nursing Source:
