Education:
OT graduate from an accredited curriculum.
Bachelors degree in nursing or health related field preferred.
Licensure:

Experience:
Minimum of one year of appropriate experience strongly preferred.
One year of experience in a home health position preferred.
Knowledge:
Exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills:
with legible handwriting for documentation of patient records in a clear and concise manner.
Basic understanding of home care services, clinical standards of care and practice, Title XXII, Medicare Conditions of Participation, JCAHO home health accreditation requirements, QI outcomes/benchmarking, infection control; good understanding of reimbursement patterns for Medicare and other payors; good working understanding of budget and other financial reports.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
