130####### The Spiritual Counselor coordinates and implements all activities of the spiritual services program and the delivery of spiritual services to patients/families.
The Spiritual Counselor acts as liaison with the hospital chaplaincy department and community clergy.
This position requires reliable transportation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 1 year hospice experience, or a combination of hospice and other related experience Qualified for certification by an accredited certifying body such as NACC or ACP BLS Accepting, sensitive and flexible towards all faith traditions Ability to operate a computer PREFERENCES:
2 years experience working with patients/families dealing with life-threatening illness and death MDiv or MA Degree from accredited seminary or school of theology or equivalent Training in the hospice concept and practices
