General job duties, types of procedures required:
Admit/Recovery Post surgical care GI procedures hands on Equipment utilized in the unit:
Paper charting - moving to Cerner, Med Select.
Required skills and minimum years of
Experience:
4 years mininum GI / Procedural nursing Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:
California RN license.
BLS ACLS & PALS Shift or schedule requirements:
Nights, no call, will not work alone Bed size/number of rooms for this unit:
20 bay 3 procedure rooms Nurse to patient ratio of this unit 1:
2 while in recovery phase then 4-5 patients per nurse Dress Code:
Scrubs Unit specific training and orientation program.
Day 1 hospital orientation day 2 department orientation day three take assignment Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
